Lovely Complex Two

A brief sequel! But very sweet all the same!

- Two stories are about Risa's younger brother, and how an otaku girl falls for him, and it's implied he falls a little for her too. I liked how we see Risa and Otani still dating, and Risa cheers her on and encourage her self esteem because they both like anime and playing videogames. And it was nice to see Risa's brother feel bitter about  not going to the school he wants, and how he doesn't really feel comfortable in his current school, but befriending Mayuri definitely helps him change his mind.

- One is about Mimi and her furthering her career. I was mildly afraid that it was going to end up as Mimi ending up with her agent, but luckily it didn't go that way at all! She began to appreciate her agent because he was honest and told the truth, and she realized that maybe she had acted a bit spoilt and self-centered, but her determination to overcome the problem helped matters, as did the agent, even if it did take a while for Mimi to find out.

- The fourth was about RIsa's manager and her best friend from school. It was nice to see her flashback to her time as a school girl, and how they sort of fell out because the friend ran away, but it was great to see them reunite. I liked that when the best friend returned, she'd gained weight and was content -- like she wasn't shamed for it at all, which is definitely a nice change from other stuff I've seen where a once formerly skinny person returns and everyone is shocked at their weight gain.

- The fifth was, kind of opposite of that, because it's about a couple that I'm pretty sure I hadn't seen before, and the boyfriend wants to break up with his girlfriend because she'd gained weight. It actually ends on a pretty heartwarming note; a reminder that food brings happiness and these two together again, but the start of it was pretty off-putting, IMO.

9/10, because I still found it pretty enjoyable, I liked remaining in the Lovely Complex world a little longer.
