Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff - Aurora Rising

One of these days I am going to get a book that I really like. This was better than Nevernight Chronicles (by Kristoff) and These Broken Stars (by Kaufman), neither of which impressed me that much, though granted I don't remember the latter book since it's been a couple of years since I read it. Basically, I had this book on my bookshelf for a while, thought since I didn't particularly like Nevernight Chronicles, I might as well get this book over and done with, and then get rid of it.

Unfortunately, I can't quite do that. There's just about enough that I'm kind of interested in to see how this story ends.

In conclusion: mostly a slog, but I'm going to reread and probably continue this series regardless because I am all for evil plants and the girl out of time to get a happily ever after.
