 I know it makes no sense, realistically, but because the Orichalcos arc is so bonkers, I actually really love it?

- I will say, actually, having watched it the third time around, that I've changed my opinion on Rafael and Valon. I've always loved Alister and Dartz, TBH.

- It's interesting because I don't think I liked Valon initially? Although, I don't think the voice actor helped, TBH. He still doesn't, really. But I think I actually appreciate him looking out for Mai, this time around. And I've found that actually, I do like him! There's something quite heartwarming about their friendship, even if it's a lil prickly.

- Rafael, on the other hand, I am a little annoyed about. How is his logic: the pharaoh has no memory, therefore he could be evil, therefore he is evil. And even if he was good, and helped evil people -- by helping them survive, rather than, IDK, aiding evil deeds unintentionally -- that makes him evil too, that logic is ridiculous???

- Alister is fine because Kaiba Corp. is awful, so I've got no real complaints there.

- Also, I just love Dartz because I think his voice is awesome, and he dresses very nice.

- Even though I love Mai's nonsensical arc, I hate her new voice actor. I really do. I get used to it by the end, but oh man, Mai's initial voice is so much warmer and big sister-esque and dry, and the difference is jarring, IMO.

 I've been rewatching Yu-Gi-Oh for comfort, and I just really love it. I actually started when the whole Destiel resurgence happened, and I just thought, if I was to resist it, why not get into this show. Because I did miss it.

- Mostly though, I just love this sassy show, and I'm glad that I rewatched it because it's just super cute and I love everyone in it. I definitely want to get back into the manga, because I started and then stopped, so I might as well just start rereading from the beginning (murderous Yami!) but I'll get round to it, and the sequel series eventually!
