January Checklist, Week 4

 Now that I've done the checklists weekly for a month, I wondered why I even bothered with Roundups TBH? I kind of report everything here anyway that IDK if there's much point to them, really. Then again, once everything returns to how it was like last year ish, maybe they'll be useful again?

I know for a fact, I should probably focus on Thunderbirds Are Go, but I actually don't like the series that much -- so even if I half-watch it while binge-reading Air Gear, IDK how far I can get with it, but at least, I can say, I am getting through it. I also feel like I should prioritize Princess Agents, TBH? It's not a bad show at all, but for some reason I'm just watching one episode a day (during the weekday), and while it is fun, I'm also uselessly addicted to The Last Empress right now. Also I'm so tempted to reread The One manhwa. I just. I know I finished it off last year, but that was a big break between where I left off and just picked it up from there, so I'm curious to know what the reread will be like TBH.

The Best Of THe Big Five TBH

 I cannot get over how beautiful Leichter's theme is in this show. I keep listening to it on repeat just because that is one catchy beat.

I can't help but like the Virtual Reality Arc, I honestly think it's a good showcase for Seto Kaiba, despite my overall dislike for the character, and despite finding him easily one of the funniest characters in the show. Why this cognitive dissonance exists for me, I don't know, but I really can't say the same for Barney Stinson who is just abhorrent. But I just think -- Seto Kaiba is so ridiculous and so over the top, that his ego makes it work, because he basically despises anyone who isn't him; whereas Barney Stinson is just -- walking and talking misogyny, TBH.

Am I annoyed that most of the filler arcs become Kaiba-centric? You betcha! But this one works far better than the one that's before the DOMA arc, I think, because this one is a really good fleshing out of the Kaiba history, and well, Noah's great.
