Would have liked it a lot better if the clothes weren't so skimpy, TBH.
- I mean, this show doesn't really have a plot, which is fine. Maia has an unlucky life, rejected from her job entrance exams, until she winds up working for the Nerieds, who do any odd job. Midway, she announces that she has very little recollection of her life, and that plot thread kind of gets ignored until the last five episodes where it's revealed that the government were afraid that she'd recollect her previous life, that she was frozen for a couple of decades, and endeavoured to make her life as terrible as possible so she wouldn't remember. Anyway, Maia releases this information to the public, and tries again for her original job offer, and hopefully gets the job, and a better life.
- I mean the actual character interactions were nice! There was a solid amount of enjoyable interaction and everyone is quirky in an endearing manner, even if some of them are a little bit terrible. But they care about each other! Even if they tease each other more. The characters themselves were fine.
- I just. Wish the clothes weren't so clearly pandering to them wearing as little as possible. Even if you wanted to say 'what they're wearing is practically swimsuits, because they live in a water-dominant world', I'm a bit like, yeah, but you could have easily given them job appropriate outfits instead of making them wear something that seems illogically made and about to fall off at any moment. And, like? Thankfully there never was any clothing damage, so no one was just randomly naked -- which, uh, y'know, has happened in a couple of animes, much to my disgust. But I'm still a bit, This show could have been better in that regard. A lot better.
- I liked the reoccurring roster of characters, and how various bad guys turned out to be brothers, by a woman who a) got pregnant a lot, and b) married many men, and presumably divorced them/they died. IDK! I liked that the half-brothers all loved each other, and discovered that they also had a sister, and another sibling on the way!
- It was cool seeing the other cities, TBH. And other agencies.
- Loved the opening, mostly.
Otherwise, it was nice. Decent. 7/10.
