I am so very charmed by this series! It's cute! It's so cute!

- I still cannot guess who the narrator is, but I still find their voice incredibly charming.

- Really liked the focus on Xan and Wish's parents! They used to be in love! Maybe they will be again! This totally means that Xan/Wish is out of the question, for me at least, unless Xan and Wish's parents don't get together (but I kind of want them to??). Also I'm fully onboard with Bodkin/Wish as a couple! It's cute! Maybe it'll stay onesided, or maybe Bodkin will grow out of it, IDK, but I'm curious to know what happens next TBH.

- I am extremely delighted by the Fork/Spoon/Key love triangle! It's ridiculous, but very cute!

- I hope Eleanor Rose comes back? She was a very cool fairy.

- I like that Xar kind of learnt from his actions and actually did a selfless thing? Like, genuinely? And called Wish the girl of destiny!

- Really liked the werewolf.

- I liked the two part structure of the book. The prison, the escape.

- I love that the Witchking is incredibly patient, and so getting trapped YET AGAIN is not really much of an issue for him? He definitely figures if he waits some more, he'll be fine.

- Also, I like that Sycorax does genuinely love her daughter? Like, I know she's still a terrible parent, but -- getting rid of her love, therefore can't actually love Wish more than she's capable of, is still? kind of awesome?

I'm super excited to read the next book, TBH!
