Had me on the edge of my seat, super riveting, super romantic.

- IT'S ABOUT A MARRIED COUPLE THAT ARE THE BEST COUPLE. No, really, I love them SO much! They love each other SO much!

- It's about Do Hyun Soo, who goes by the name of Baek Hee Sung, is married to Cha Ji Won, and have a darling little girl called Baek Eun Ha, actually has a pretty terrible past. His father was a murderer, and people think Do Hyun Soo is a murderer too. He's diagnosed with anti-social personality, and believes that he can't feel emotions like other people can, and gets by on being really performative in order to fit in, and make other people think he's normal. Ji Won, unaware of any of this, is a policewoman who thinks her husband is just a lovely man, who adores her, and works a metal craft shop, is in for a really big shock.

- I love how the distrust grows between them, because Ji Won, who loved Hee Sung, of course can't believe this past at first, it sounds ridiculous. But certain events start happening, too many coincidences occur, and that doubt is planted, and of course she's got to get to the bottom of this. So she does her best! And I love how she's determined to get the evidence first, partly maybe because she doesn't want to believe what she fears to be true, partly because the murder case featuring Do Hyun Soo was never properly solved. So, if her husband could be an innocent man in all of this, she wants definitive proof that he's not guilty. (She is going to mess with him a little bit, which I think is fair, considering he did lie to her for years about the truth of his identity, though.)

- I also love that it's very clear that Do Hyun Soo is incorrectly diagnosed, because it's obvious from the start that if he doesn't care about Cha Ji Won (which is a lie, he just doesn't recognize his emotions, of course he loves her), then he certainly, without a shadow of a doubt, adores his daughter Eun Ha, who in turn thinks that her father is the best parent. He definitely spoils her with those egg tarts.

- Anyway, the suspense and tenseness is trying to figure out what is the truth, what on earth happened in the past, and watching a lot of the characters get closer to the truth, even when you're not entirely sure what that means. Like, it initially does make Do Hyun Soo feel capable of being a murderer, when he locks up his former friend in the basement for a couple of days - even if they become best friends by the end, it's still super tense! And there's a lot of plot twists!

- First off, the actual Baek Hee Sung is a terrible human being, but oh my god, is kind of easy to feel sorry for him, even if he is completely bonkers for most of the show, and is driven by paranoia, even if he's really murderous. He's actually a really great villain, and I loved how chaotic he was. And seeing how he was the actual accomplice to Do Hyun Soo's murderers was both a shock and delight, and explained even more understanding at his resentment at Do Hyun Soo, who had stepped in and replaced him.

- His parents, who clearly care for him quite deeply, otherwise why else would they resort to such desperate measures, and living in stress for a good majority of their lives, are clearly at their wits' end, and I was honestly very shocked at how extreme they were willing to go. Honestly, I was very shocked that the mother was the one to stab him, and cause his coma in the first place, and save Do Hyun Soo's life. But oh  my god, they were willing to sell out Do Hyun Soo to ensure Baek Hee Sung regain his life, and that truly shocked me.

- Also, I super loved Cha Ji Won's team? I like how they sussed out the truth, even though Cha Ji Won did her best to be very sneaky, and it became apparent that she was lying about something, but not what it was, for a while.

- I'm glad that Do Hae Soo and Kim Moo Jin never actually become a couple again? It's heavily implied, I get it, but it's never official, and I think it works better that way, in all honesty. They can get together in the future, fine, but the present day, I found it would have been too much, even if both do actually feel something for each other.

- Do Hae Soo and Do Hyun Soo's father was a monster, and man, that actor is so good? I like that he's a ghost haunting Do Hyun Soo constantly unless Cha Jin Woo is there, and his entire eyes are glossed black, but they still shine, and it's a creepy effect, yes, but oh so good. He never says anything as a ghost, but the flashbacks of him are unnerving. I kind of like that he wanted an accomplice, thought he could have had that in Do Hyun Soo, but instead recognizes it in Baek Hee Sung instead.

- I love that Do Hyun Soo could tell that Cha Ji Won was upset with him about something, but couldn't figure out what, and then by the term Cha Jin Won has come to terms with his past, and loves him still, that's when he puts the pieces together, and gets so upset, so heartbroken, because he cannot understand why she would continue to love him and stay with him after all the lies have been exposed. It's incredibly upsetting, but oh so beautiful a scene, and like? His actor was incredible.

- Also, can I say, that Do Hyun Soo breaking down at confessing that he sees ghosts, his father, and Cha Ji Won, who he thinks is dead, and therefore cannot trust that she's alive even if she says she is, is also heartbreaking. That actor is really good at crying scenes and also playing a guy who thinks his performance is 100% performative, even when it's clear that he unconsciously loves his family.

- The realization that Do Hyun Soo does love Cha Ji Won and Baek Eun Ha is also so very very lovely. He can feel, he just didn't know it, is -- it's lovely, really.

- I'm also delightfully happy with the amnesia trope used at the end? Usually I dislike it, but I think because the final episode was dedicated to Do Hyun Soo figuring out what was real, what a lie, what his emotions are, (even when the court is finally closing the case from 20 years ago), is deserved, because finally, he is free to be himself, without the lies and the pressure and the acts, and he chooses of his own free will that he wants to be with Cha Ji Won; and when he finally meets his daughter, and the second she says 'daddy' and 'you're my favourite person in the entire world', he trusts his heart, he instinctively hugs her, and Cha Ji Won joins in the hug is so so good, because it's the happy ending that all of them deserve, and I'm really happy that he's able to get a good ending, after all the unfairness that happened in the show.

- I really did think everyone was a murderer at one point or another in all honesty. I got very stressed about it.

10/10. Adored, loved it so very much.
