GOODNESS GRACIOUS, THIS SHOW. It always has me on such tenterhooks! I get so stressed out when watching this show! It's tense! There's pressure! Sometimes I just can't take it!

(Also: I should have rewatched s3, I'd forgotten a lot, and was quickly reminded, but, uh, I had completely forgotten everything about Gardia. And oh boy, I should not have forgotten about that powerhouse.)

- Season 3 ended up with such a cliffhanger!!! Nairobi got shot, el Profesor believed that Lisboa was dead, ARTURITO THE GLORY HOUND JUMPED BACK INTO THE FRAY!!!

- I love Arturito. He's a scrappy, resilient little cockroach that does terrible things and is a wretched human being, but I adore him. I love that everyone hates him, as they should. But the show loves putting him through humiliating situations, and man, it's fine dark comedy. That being said, I totally soured on him when he rapes the... I think she's the bank leader's secretary? And I am so, so glad that the characters straight up said it's rape. Because it is. He drugged her, and heavily implied that he assaulted her, I think he's going to die in s5? I hope he dies?

- Listen, I mean, both Berlin and Denver are rapists, but Berlin is dead, and Denver didn't know that Stockholm Syndrome exists, and put a stop to his behaviour; he might not always go about it in the right way, but Denver is always trying to learn, do better, and the fact that he didn't know about Stockholm Syndrome and instantly tries to go 'no! no we can't date because it's unethical and I don't want to be a bad person' is. It's a start, I think, and a contrast to both Berlin and Arturo. It's interesting to me that when Denver and Stockholm do get together in the first heist, they fall apart in this one. But I think -- Denver and Stockholm are going to be okay by the end. God, I hope they're okay.

- Their fight to me makes sense, because everything is so tense that of course people unravel? People are constantly chafing and the scenes are so stressful and no one can calm down, but IDK. I don't care for Rio/Tokyo as a ship, but there's sort of enough time for me to go, oh okay, they love each other, I just don't care; whereas with Lisboa/Profesor, I 100% fell for them as a ship, despite not being entirely won over in the first two seasons.

- I always forget how much I love the friendships here! Like, I dislike Angelo, BUT, I very much adore his friendship with Lisboa/Raquel, and the same for Alicia. I love the wierd jaded thing between Tokyo and Denver, how he finds her hot, but it's not a line he'd ever cross. Or how Monica/Stockholm becomes an anchor for Rio. This season, I totally understood why Nairobi fell for Helsinki (I just needed their interactions between the timeskip, and yeah!!! of course she'd fall for him since he's the sweetest!). Tokyo/Profesor was also so good!!! It's a very fractured friendship sometimes, because the stakes are so intense, but they're such a family, I love them.

- But oh man, I can't believe how invested I got in Nairobi/Bogota either. I WANTED SO BADLY FOR THEM TO HAVE A HAPPY ENDING. And!!!! I cannot believe that I got Nairobi/Profesor!!! My crack otp!!! I got it in the strangest way possible, but I GOT it!!!

- Nairobi dying was the worst, and I am MAD. I felt like the writers were like 'well somebody should die in s3/4, because two people died in s1/2' and after everything Nairobi went through? UGH. It's gutting. He's a spiteful piece of work.

- I don't care for Berlin/Palermo. Not sure what to make of it. Still kinda mad that Nairobi died because Palermo wanted chaos and control. You don't say 'I'm not gay' and then give a really passionate kiss; and also say 'hm, i've never felt with women what i feel with you, btw you're my soulmate'.

- Yay that Manila is a trans woman! Nay that they cast a cis actress. Her messing with Denver was hilarious though.

- Please, show, tell me about Tatiana. WHAT HAPPENED TO HER????

- I can't help but love the cutthroat police officers/whoever they are. They're ruthless, and corrupt, and I love these terrible people who working at the office. I hope Benito is alright by the end of it.

- The last episode was a little anticlimatic, but I'm still desperate to know what happens now that Alicia has found el profesor??? Also: Lisboa is IN THE BANK!!! WHAT IS SHE GOING TO BE LIKE AS A BANK ROBBER??

I also watched the documentary: La Casa De Papel El Fenomeno. Super cute!!!

- I am a little bit worried that they WRITE IT AS THEY GO? Like, it can work, but at the same time, I'm deeply stressed out because if they don't know the ending, how are they going to stick the landing? I can and WILL pretend that Money Heist has 2 seasons if I'm unhappy with how s5 (presumably?) is the ending? Also JFC, I thought s4 was going to be the final season, but if not, I really hope they don't drag it out because these guys can only be in a bank for so long, okay?

- I like how everyone is puzzled that Berlin is popular and they know he's not a good person. A great character, wonderfully acted. BUT OH MY GOD, HE'S A TERRIBLE PERSON.

- Super love that everyone loves Arturito!!!! HIS ACTOR IS THE BEST!!!

- I loved how they overcame problems and found new problems. And how they dedicated themselves to trying to be realistic, and had a fun sense of humour.

I'm gonna miss this show when it ends, but ah, I hope it ends well. I am definitely going to rewatch it soon.
