Just Add Magic: New Protectors

I can't believe this show has another season! I mean, it was just one episode, but that has to mean that there's more in store, right?
Look, I love this show. I find it the perfect amount of silly and enchanting and fluffy fun! THEY'RE FOODWITCHES! THEY BAKE AND EAT AND MAGIC HAPPENS! What's not to like!
The thing is, last season, gave it a perfect end! The book moved on, the current protectors have passed on the torch, so I thought, okay, that's it. That's a good end. Apparently not!
It's a really nice beginning though for the new trio. I liked how they came together, and solved things. (And I'll miss the old-old trio, Becky/Ida/Gina, so I kind of hope they might appear as well, at some point? And ofc I miss Darby/Kelly/Hannah, because they were an adorable trio,) Like, it just updated the settings without making the rehashing boring, and I think it will be cute to see these three weirdos become the best of friends. Because D/K/H were already friends, and B/I/G were a friendship that broke apart, so it would be really cool to see Zoe and her friends start to be friends.
(I doubt we're going to see RJ/Noelle/Jill/Mr Morris again, because those trio's memory's seem to be completely erased, and I doubt they're coming back, and at least Jill is happier forgetting everything. This was actually a big issue I had in s2, but s3 fixed that by returning B/I/G's memories back and living with the consequences and fallout and remaining friends in spite of that. It was hard work, but I liked it.)
AND CHUCK CAME BACK. (Look I have a soft spot because I knew him as the voice of Finn first, but I really loved his evil take, in this show where no one is really a villain, but an interesting antagonist regardless). BUT HE SET UP THE MYSTERY OF THE POCKETWATCH WITH ONE OF THE NEW TRIO HAS.
SO THAT'S A MYSTERY THAT HAS TO BE ANSWERED, RIGHT?
(And if this show could, maybe, answer who is the traveller? Because I'm fairly certain that it isn't Chuck's sister? But I could be wrong, but I still never quite got that impression nevertheless! And the snarky AmazonPrime trivia also didn't lead that impression either, so MAYBE? I want the traveller to come back!)
Basically, I like what the episode set up, and yes, I'd like to see old characters, I'm really engaged with the new characters and the relationship dynamics that brings, so I'm actually really looking forward to more with them, because it's a cute show, and I'm fairly confident in the direction this show will take will be fine and I'll have a pleasant time watching it.
