Kipo And The Age Of Wonderbeasts Season 2

satalasers I'm so glad this got a s2!!! I loved s1 a lot, and I'm thrilled that s2 was also super great!
- I didn't even consider the Mega Monkey being Song Oak in s1, but TBH, during s2, I began to think maybe it was the case, and then a couple of episodes later, was verified!
- I was completely wrong about Hugo/Scarlemagne's origin story, but you know what? I love it. I love what we got. I love that he sees Kipo as his sister, and Lio and Song as his parents, and he just wants to be chosen for him. I don't know if he'll get a redemption storyline, I feel like maybe? maybe it's possible? since I don't think he's going to be the final bad guy of this show, but I really like that he's Kipo's brother, and Kipo tries to reach out to him, and he in turn genuinely cares for her, even if his method of showing it is twisted. But man, Dan Stevens. He's having SO! MUCH! FUN!
- I actually kinda like that Jamack doesn't want to be a permanent member of Kipo's group, but he's ~unfortunately invested~ in keeping Kipo safe. And basically, I just like Jamack! I want him to be randomly turning up every now and then. He's living a good life.
- I loved that Benson and Wolf are becoming closer as friends. Although Wolf softening up is super cute, and I love her being more open with Kipo, and they sing together to save the day.
- I think the Benson/Troy ship is cute, but I want Troy to be more distinct as a character besides 'likes Benson'. But they're cute.
- I loved Kipo being a Mega Beast. I thought her turining jaguar was how it was going to go, but no! She had an extra level, and that's equally as cool!
- Tad Mulholland returns! Still creepy but now a force of good because he knows what friendship is now and likes helping Kipo! I was delighted that he came back, and Dave really wanted to repeat his s1 episode.
- I loved the new villains! They're much more serious and sinister than Scarlemagne, but I liked that Lio and Song were once part of their group, but they understood implicitly that they were not good people.
- Honestly, I'm kinda sad that Billions and Billions didn't have any lines (if any?) this season. John Hodgeman has such a good voice!
- I loved Fun Gus! Entirely bizarre as an entity, but so cool!
