Mar. 1st, 2020 07:12 pm Can I just say, that if a book begins by introducing the author's bio with 'HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN HAPPY ENDINGS' then WHAT, good sir, is the POINT?
(Not to say that books can't end unhappily, cynically, bittersweetly or even esoteric, but I mean, COME ON. Do not use that as my first impression of the author FFS.)
Anyway, did not care much for this book. Ugh, I just want a book to love, why am I so picky.

I'm not getting the sequel because I just didn't find it interesting enough to continue. I am kind of curious with there being an adaptation though? I'll try to be on the look out for it, at least?
