 Didn't really enjoy this show?

- I think it's a good thing that none of the characters were decent people, and most of them had reasons for doing illegal stuff, but eh, I don't think I was in the mood to watch morally ambiguous people TBH.

- I didn't like Gyu-Ri initially, just because: she did steal Ji Soo's phone for no real reason. I actually came to really like her, because she could have ditched him at any point, but instead stood by him, and helped out when she could. Also, I did like that it made sense why she lashed out in this particular way: she was raised by parents who were super shallow and weren't really that interested in her, but what she represented, and her eventual friendship with Ji Soo was a marked turning point for her.

- I also kind of liked Minhee. I think, maybe her turning away from Ji Soo was a tad rushed, but on the other hand, a teen ill-equipped for this, and a terrible apology that didn't really explain much is... never going to go well. I did hate her boyfriend though.

- I did have sympathy for Ji Soo, though. I mean, it's a bit of a reach, because he is essentially prostituting women, though he's trying to offer protection, but at the same time, his life did suck, so I kind of wanted him to regain a sense of normality and get out of the terrible life that he had.

- I did like how the series was a culmination of mistakes building up throughout the series. Ji Soo wasn't nearly as calculated as you'd think he was initially, and Gyu-Ri really stepped up in that department. Made things worse, true, but also was clearly trying to help him all the same, and did save his skin.

- I'm so sad about Lee Wang Cheol. It's just. I didn't want him to die, but at the same time, it's hard to say that he wouldn't have died all the same. I did like his father-daughter relationship with Minhee though. He wanted her to get out of the business, but at the same time, he couldn't really force her, since she did voluntarily sign up.

- I think the only likable character was Jo Jin Woo, because he wanted to look out for them, but knew his boundaries, and also never knew the full story, but he still tried his hardest, damnit. And he could see through their bullshit, he could tell they were lying about something.

- Not sure how I feel about the police officers. They were good people, because they wanted to solve the sex trafficking, but on the other hand, I just found it hard to like them. Maybe because I wanted Ji Soo and Gyu Ri to get away from all of this.

- I kind of don't want there to be a s2, TBH? I'd like to believe that those two moved away and went on to have a happier life, but IDK.

7/10. Might be a bit low, but at the same time, while I do think it was good, I wasn't that invested in it.
