I wish I had a cat as cute as Chi!
- Sweet, wholesome, absolutely adorable! There's so much love in this show, and it's super cute!
- I'm surprised that Come-Come actually became a main character in the second half -- as in: an arc dedicated to him losing his way from the park he lives in, and then struggles to get back. Along the way, he befriends a wandering cat called Diplo, and nearly gets adopted by a university student named Mari. But I loved it, just because Come-Come had become such a warm character already, even if he's still slightly stingy. Although, when he was reuinited with his brother White-White, it was a bit of a heartache for them to imply that yeah, being a stray cat, OFC Come-Come would be malnourished and smaller than the healthy and well-fed kitten that his brother is. :( I'm glad there wasn't much resentment there, but definitely Come-Come initially felt shame TBH.
- I loooved Flutter the fish! She made me laugh by how much she disliked Chi, and Chi wanted only to touch Flutter! (Not eat! Just touch!) Although OFC Chi wins Flutter over! Maybe it's not entirely completely respect for Chi, but definitely a little begrudging respect all the same.
- The episodes where the married cat thieves duo wanting to eat Flutter, but the husband was like 'nooo, Chi is cute! let's leave this fish alone!' was super cute, and I like it a lot.
- Honestly, I'm a little bit sad that Chi interacting with Ann and Telly didn't really go anywhere. They didn't remember being related, so that makes me sad. But at the same time, it was very cute that they still got to interact with each other and like each other greatly! And going to Fluffyland!
- Fluffyland was super weird, but I kind of adored it for that reason all the same! I loved the flying fish and entering the tree and seeing huge turtles and ducks. It was cute and Alice In Wonderland inspired-esque, in the sense it probably was just a dream, but it was still a lovely one!
- Julie the cousin of Yohei was super cool and I liked how many cats befriended her, and even Kuroinu was slightly jealous of her mysterious ways!
- Loved how the final episode was Chi, being Chi, sort of ruins everyone's day, but at the same time, the Yamada family realize that they have a lot of fun with Chi, even if she does what she wants and doesn't listen to what they say, what matters is that every day with Chi is a fun day, they love her! And that's exactly the way it should end!
- Honestly, I'm so sad the second season didn't have an opening song -- I adored how lovely and playful the song way, perfectly encapsulating Chi being a kitten and interacting with the world in bliss and innocence. But the ending song, which only appeared in the second season, was cute too, and it was lovely to see that it featured artwork that kid's sent in, and the final episode showed *SO MANY PICTURES* of Chi and Come-come, and everyone else! How lovely!
- The two-parter where Chi is in the real world, and interacting with the studio, and then travelling the world and seeing conventions where Chi is loved by so many people was heartwarming.
10/10. What a lovely show! I think I'm going to wait a month before I try watching the 2D series, just in case there's overlap, and I want some time to adjust to 3D Chi to 2D Chi.
