Kamen Rider Fourze

satalasers I've never watched Kamen Rider before, but I've always wanted to!
- I don't think I like it as much as Super Sentai, so I don't think I want to watch all the shows, unlike SS, but there's a couple that's caught my eye over the years, but this one was one that I've wanted to see for a long time. The other two that I've been most interested in is OOO (I think? Or Den-O?) and Faiz. There are a couple more that I want to see, but those three/four the highest priority TBH.
- It took a while to get into? Like, three or four episodes, to sort of get invested. I think the middle bit was kind of boring, but at the same time, the characters were very fun and loveable, so I didn't mind too much.
- Gentarou is the best! I love that he adores friendship and constantly wants to befriend anyone and anything, if given the chance.
- I love his friendship with Yuuki and Kengo the most. They're adorable, the space dreamers, the astronauts! I liked how it took time for Kengo to warm to people, but he and Yuuki have been friends since childhood, and they both love doing the henshin pose.
- I think high school is a nice setting, and I've definitely missed it! I didn't expect the show to cover two years though! That's kind of awesome? Mio and Shun graduate, but they still come back from time to time.
- Out of the group, JK was my fave. I just liked how he kind of initially tried to use people, because he was jaded about friendship, but his easygoing front is a cover, because he's scared of his dreams failing and being laughed at, after his father's failure of fame. I just liked his development, because he really comes a long way.
- I'm surprised how quick it took for Mio and Shun to join the Kamen Rider Club, TBH? They're both the most popular, and I didn't really ship them, but I liked how they became pretty tight knit with everyone.
- I liked Tomoko a lot! Her psychic power was pretty useful a lot of the time! I do wish there was more Tomoko/Ryusei, TBH, because I'm left wanting more moments with them, but I do think they got teased a lot, and that is cute! I just want more!#
- I really liked Ryusei! TBH, I didn't know if there would be a second Kamen Rider, but there was! I enjoyed his secrecy and his thoughts, saying one thing but thinking another. I liked how he shunned Gentarou's friendship, because he'd been hurt before, and I liked that Gentarou could sense he wasn't being sincere at times, but was willing to wait and find out who the true Ryusei was.
- I kind of really liked the bad guy? He just wants to go to space, but he's terribly impatient at times! He was surprisingly nice to his minions, and yet, could be incredibly callous. And, I will say, a handshake is not a way I would normally expect the final battle to go, but because it's Gentarou, and his devotion to friendship, that Gentarou is the reason why it works.
- That ending was super emotional. I got more emotional than I thought I would in all honesty, but I really liked everyone and how things came about.
